Default 22R question

Ok, my friend got a 22R from 83Nismo off of craigslist awhile back wich 83 telling him about this site is how i found it. Well anyways it looks like there is 2 water outlets, one on the head and one on the intake. Both of the outlets are blocked with plate and silicone and I was wondering if its ok having that passage blocked. I feel the more coolant flowing to different places the better. But then again i dont see why it would hurt it to be blocked. Just wondering what you guys thought. I dont have a probem just running it like that but wnated to know a little more about it.

Im not gonna be back up there for a few days, It is one off the back of the head and one off the intake manifold that looks like the two should connect with a hose.

Pics? You sure it's for coolant? Not part of the smog stuff?

no there is a coolant plate on the back of the head, but not sure of the one on the intake. there are no tubes for the head one, it just routes it around.

The EGR is blocked off, so maby the one on the intake is for the EGR. That would make sence, bt the one on the head doesn.

It's been so long since I've had my block out I really don't remember what the back of the head looks like.

on the back of the head there is a block off place that has a coolant line running through it. This place runs around from the intake side and gos to the front of the head via tube. The same goes for the other side. This thing moves coolant to the intake or the other way around.

okay didnt feel like reading all that aorry no offense. There emission block off's all the emissions were messed up when i got that truck so i built an blocked off all the emission plates.

okay read that last part. That was tied into the emissions which i had to remove as the part was broke. it was a metal t thing. That motor runs like a raped ape tuned right as it sat. It needed a weber 34/36 put back on it an it would go amazingly. If you have ne q's ask brad for my number i dont have internet right now.
