Default Lez guess the problem

Ok guys, before taking it to the dealership, I hear a rattling sign in my truck when I'm accelerating. majorly when I shift up while speed is slow it is more clearly heard. When the truck is not moving at all I could hear something in the engine rattling. anyone know what that could be? it's not normal. Don't want to drive the truck in the condition it is.

well now it's coming from right under the engine. my clutch is slipping, and squeaking like nothing else from the motor. I hope this gets warrantied.

Are there any aftermarket clutches for an 07 Xterra?

Yeah sounds like your clutch is falling apart.

Ditto. Best feel and grab of any clutch I've owned or driven!

Sweet thanks. i order the clutch from a NJ for $100. Looking for a replacement Flywheel.

Looks like I have to swallow the cost and spend $450 on one

flywheel's are not cheap at all fair warning but if you get a heavy weight fly wheel that will help give you some bottom end grunt and torque.

Got it fixed. at a dealer. Sucks, but they were the cheapest. The flywheel broke so they warrantied that, where I asked them to replace the clutch while they were in there. So now I have an extra flywheel for sale

Hate to say it but Toyota would have bent over backward to fix anything like that for one of their trucks for free... Toyota is famous for the custom service, but you pay for it up from when ya buy new...

Good to see ya got the problem fixed, I would have pitched a fit with a bad flywheel at 40K, damn they should out last anything on the vehical.
