wow 5.57 are some tall ass gears! but if its gonna be the wheeler rig that would work perfect . but I am questionable about the strength of the 5.57's?

if you go 4.66 with a crawl box you should be perfect...

no 4.56 or 5.57....strengh is good in both but those are my only options with my axle choices...dual case's maybe later after truck is all done that will be last.

i'd go 5.29 or 4.88 preferably the 5.29s
edit: i didn't read that those were his only choices for his axles

i'd go with the 5. ** if it is mostly a wheel rig.. gearing is the key to success!

I would go 4:56 if i were you. wheel speed is somthing that you need for the trails around here, Always wet and sloppy.
and then go dual cases down the road. then you get the best of both worlds. wheel speed , and selectable crawl when you need it.
I run an 85 toyota with 35's, 4:10's and a marlin crawl box. Having selectable low-low range is preety sweet. Makes for a combination that can be used in almost any situation.
and nissan dual cases are so easy to put together since you can make your own adapter (drive shaft)LOL.
just my 02.$ hope it helps Cheers Barto

1st its a nissan yotas axles woulnt work second. I'm running a gm 10 bolt front with way to much work into it along with a 9" out back. I was thinking the 4.56's as well just wanted some input. Seems as the nissan may be able to be a trailer queen now.

5.29 (at least in yota running gear) is a very strong gear set. i havent heard anything bad about it.

i've heard people having issues with the 5.71 gear pinion but not the 5.29. like i said, 5.29 is the "standard" when it comes to regearing yotas, its what most people recommend.
