Okay well not sure what every one's knoledge is on this board but i'll try. Basicly if you were to take a e-controlled auto tranny unhook all it's sensors put a manual valve body in it, What would it do? will it want to freak out and stay in drive? What if you add a diff. servo? Can you just manualy shift it, will that cause damage to it? these q's have alot to do with my truck build up and depends on weather or not I have to wait for megashift or not. I wanted a manual any ways but I can figure out what manual works with the 3.8l all I can find out is a borg warner t-5 will fit but flywheel clutch pressure plate ect.. no one will share that info and no one makes any thing so I'm stuck.

Back to the question, I believe that would all have to do with what e-tranny you are trying to do it on. My tranny is complete controlled my electronics and the dealership doesn't have any way of making adjustments to the crappy shifting other than writing new code and trying to flash the computer. In otherwards, they built the thing to damn smart to fool and to damn shity to run.

One day, computers will tell us what to do.

okay think about this tommy less then $50 nice perfect tranny thats the style i want every other option is over 2k besides if u can figure out manual tranny that fits a 3.8l v6 and will work for under 2k ur god!...I'm dealing with a 95 4l60e witch the computer completly controls I can build a new board and code it for the tranny/trannys but that means more wires i have already had to get rid of like 50 billion and still have a bunch...
