Here are my pics from the weekend. Had a great time out there. Nothing like the first camping trip of the year. I had fun showing a couple different people who had never been there before around. Sunday I about had a catastrophe with my trailer coming out there but other than that it was a great weekend.

A disadvantage of tube doors. A rock came through NorcalSVX's cab and took out his back window. WabFab is holding it all together.

The last mile of that road is a STEEP, one lane dirt road with switchbacks. Guys haul toy haulers down there all the time so it's doable with a trailer just not ideal by any means. About the time I decided to leave on Sunday all the dirt bike guys were showing up. Thank god I put it in 4low at the bottom on my way out. About 1/4 mile up I met a dumbass on one of the switchbacks and he left me with no where to go. I'm 40 feet long with the trailer on and when I tried to sqeeze past him the right side of my trailer dropped off the road halfway through the corner. I saw it go in my mirror and turned uphill and stood on it. I was spinning all 4 tires in the dirt road hopping up and down and somehow it pulled it back onto the road. Had I been in 2wd or high range it would have probably just spun out or killed the engine and I'm pretty confident it would have drug my trailer and Tacoma over the hill. It was pretty hairy coming out there to say the least.

Oh geeze. Glad you reacted quickly. Time to lock the rear end of the Taco?

I would have wanted to beat the other guy for being an idioit. Arent there some rules for right of way on trails, and single lane roads that can cause serious damage?

Rules of right of way don't matter unless both parties know what they are.
