so my mom just told me I get to take the Montero to school next year. With that in mind I began developing the check list.
Smog
Oil Change
Tune Up
:wall:
I am nearing the 150,000 mark so I think it is time. it will signify near 14,000 miles I have driven Monty.
The Wish list will follow when I feel Monty is worth pouring the extra money into.

No you can't. I wasn't allowed to take a vehicle to School with me until I moved off campus my second year. Lucky you!

first year i couldnt have a car, second year i bought my yota, this year im buying another car, for the gas... stupid gas... i'd say you should look inot a tune up, just your baisic tune up, like they look over the whole motor making sure everything is where it needs to be. so it wont break down on you when you go to school

And... Don't go fording any rivers... The yota would have been fine, except for a trip up Indian River last spring...

I forgot to put brakes on that list. but yea, smog first.
I made a 400 mile trip up to the Feather River Canyon (Bay Area to Tahoe to Quincy and Back) in the Monty, I don't challenge its reliability, I just don't know how long it will last...if that makes sense.
Sonoma State Has a Butt Load of parking. I am stoked, All of my meals and stuff will be paid for, I will most likely have a job so all of the money will either go to Monty or other various things. some transformation should happen soon. But nothing too drastic..gotta pass smog first, I have to keep reminding myself

she..?
as a wise man (steve) once said, in justification of a male Truck...
"If you drove a woman that hard, she'd leave you"
Monty = guy
but yea. not too far to drive on road to get home. but far enough away to not want to go through the trouble.

Does that mean you'll be packing your gear? What are you trying to say?

didn't you guys see the post of me bitching? the one I got scolded for? my portion of the 750 dollars to pay for the brake job will be present.
is it just the rotor, pads and caliper that makes up the brake system?

Oh yeah, we mocked you for complaining. I remember that.
The English you choose did not clearly illustrate what you were saying.
is it just the rotor, pads and caliper that makes up the brake system?
And the master cylinder, proportioning valve and fluid of course. And if you have ABS, then there are more parts.
