I rented the tool to pull the pulley off my powersteering pump tonite from Autozone. Damned if I can figure out how to use it though. I poked around on google and couldn't find anything right away. Anyone want to school me? It looks like this http://www.autozone.com/in_our_stores/loan_a_tool/pullers_specialized/power_steering_pulley.htm

Just taking a guess, but it looks like it should be used in conjunction with a slide hammer. Just like you would if you were to remove a pilot bearing on you manual trans.

So I was wrong. A 2 sec google search and this was the first page and the first I looked at. Explains it all in detail...

Awesome guess I missed that link!! Thanks Ramtime. Now I have to totally flush my system. Turns out Toyota power steering pumps DO NOT like high temp synthetic PS fluid. My pump died not too long after going to hydro assist and switching to that fluid.
