Sorry it took so long to reply... I'm Sarah, and my first, only, now gone and dead, wheelin vehicle was an 85 Chevy/GMC Blazer/Jimmy bastard. My Dad bought it for me with a 2'' suspension lift, 2'' body lift, 35's, manual lockers. And, yes I know who did all the work on it, so I knew there wouldn't be anything to worry about mechanically/structurally. It had a rebuilt engine, and new transmission, that wasn't timed to the speedometer correctly. If the meter read 45, i was really doing about 60ish... I loved that rig, and want it, or something very similar back eventually.

I took her out wheelin in the Mutton Mountains, and dad took it away and replaced it with a 96 Chevy Corsica, which I in turn used for drifting...

The guy who bought it from my dad gave it to one of his sons. Here is my proof that guys do not inherently know how to care for, or even own a vehicle. The son drove it till the oil, coolant, and even tranny fluid were bone dry and f***ed the whole mechanics of the vehicle over permanently.

She was parted out for body parts and structural parts... I still don't like the kid for ruining my Blazer.

um not all guys... and allot of woman dont even know what gear oil is or what it's used for. but what a douche for doing that.

Part of the reason I joined this site, aside from being friends with Nate, is because I knew y'all wouldn't do something so horrendous to any vehicle... unless y'all had a particular vehicle you wanted off the face of the earth (anyone want to go torch some H3's? lol, kidding)

Oh, and I'll let you know if I have any chairs to get rid of 98... lol

I think i worded myself wrong... it should have read "all guys" not just guys...

and as for women, well, we're not expected to know that stuff, so when we do it's an oddity! I hate mechanics btw... always talk down to me.

I love the body style of the early 80's models of the s10 blazers... the newer ones just look weird to me. I also loved that I could take the top off... Nothing quite like the look on the face of the people sitting under no roof!
